Teaching Artist
Are you a creative artist or a tinkerer at heart? Do you revel in making things, or consider yourself bursting with creative ideas? YEI is on the hunt for imaginative individuals to join our team and lead students through an array of exciting projects. As a Teaching Artist, you’ll guide young minds in exploring product photography, graphic design, T-shirt making, sewing, and crafting with laser cutters and 3D printers. No worries if you’re not an expert in all these areas just yet—training will be provided to the right candidates. However, a creative spirit is a must!
We believe in nurturing creativity and entrepreneurial thinking among students in grades 5-12, through engaging workshops in art, craft, and design. Review primary responsibilities and qualifications here
Part Time – Fall and Spring Semesters: 15 to 25 hours per week including Saturdays and flexible scheduling during the weekdays. Summer Semester: Up to full time; weekdays only.

Made By Youth Studio & Showroom Manager
The Made By Youth Studio & Showroom Site Manager helps lead the operations and activation of YEI’s creative entrepreneurship space, where youth entrepreneurs design, produce, and sell their products.
This role manages weekend programming, supports student entrepreneurs using creative production tools, and helps activate the showroom as a vibrant community space.
The Site Manager will oversee studio operations, mentor youth interns, build partnerships with local artists and businesses, and help bring customers and visitors into the showroom.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys community engagement, creative production, and supporting youth-led businesses.
Schedule:
Part-time with required weekend availability.

Peer Mentor
Peer Mentors play an important role in supporting younger students as they develop their entrepreneurial skills and creative ideas. This role is ideal for alumni college students, recent graduates, or young professionals interested in youth development, entrepreneurship education, and mentorship.
Peer Mentors assist with student projects, support Teaching Artists during workshops, help facilitate group activities, and serve as positive role models for youth participants. Mentors may also support student business development, pitch preparation, and marketplace events.

Vending Manager Assistant
The Vending Manager Assistant supports YEI’s student marketplace and vending programs. This role helps coordinate youth participation in pop-up shops, community markets, and entrepreneurship events where students sell their products and gain real-world business experience.
The assistant works closely with the Vending Coordinator to help organize logistics, prepare student vendors, and ensure smooth operations during events.
Schedule: Part-time with weekend and event-based hours.
