Youth creating beauty products in BizBeauty

Program Overview

Where beauty, science, creativity, and business meet.

BizBeauty is YEI’s beauty entrepreneurship program where youth learn how to create, brand, package, price, market, and sell beauty and personal care products.

Students explore cosmetic chemistry, product safety, sanitation, ingredients, design, packaging, customer needs, branding, marketing, and business fundamentals through hands-on activities.

Youth do not just make products. They learn how beauty brands are built, how customers make buying decisions, and how creativity can become a career or business pathway.

Why BizBeauty

The beauty industry is a gateway to science, business, and ownership.

Beauty products are more than fun projects. They introduce youth to chemistry, formulas, ingredients, packaging, marketing, brand identity, customer trust, pricing, and entrepreneurship.

BizBeauty gives young people a safe, creative, and culturally relevant way to explore STE(A)M, business, self-expression, and income-building.
