Elijah started 2FRESH during YEI’s 2025 summer Smart Hustle MBSYEP program while also participating in BizBeauty. Through the program, he explored entrepreneurship, product-making, branding, pitching, and vending.
His business, 2FRESH, sells cologne balm — a solid, pocket-sized cologne product created for people with sensitive skin using natural ingredients. Elijah currently offers multiple scent options across masculine, feminine, and unisex scents in 1oz and 2oz sizes.
Elijah pitched and vended at KidBizCON, winning 3rd place. Since launching, he has continued participating in pop-ups and is returning this summer as a youth entrepreneur working to grow his brand, build inventory, and keep improving his business.

Meet Elijah.
Elijah is a rising senior at Bard High School Early College DC and the founder of 2FRESH. His business focuses on cologne balm, a solid-based fragrance product that is pocket-sized and created with natural ingredients.
Elijah’s passion is entrepreneurship. He wants to learn what it takes to manage a business, grow from the information he learns, and use entrepreneurship as a pathway to create multiple income streams in the future.
Through 2FRESH, Elijah is building product-making skills, sales experience, confidence, and a stronger understanding of how businesses are created, tested, and grown.

His long-term goal is to use the lessons he learns as an entrepreneur to build and manage multiple businesses, with cologne-making as one of the income streams supporting his future.
