Lauryn is one of YEI’s elementary youth entrepreneurs participating in YEI’s Smart Hustle Jr. school-year program and BizBeauty Jr. at Ketcham Elementary. She started in school year 2024 and has been consistent in the program since joining.
Her business, Lauryn Sparkles, started in 2024 because she wanted to create fun soaps that encourage people to wash their hands. She began with jelly soaps and has continued growing her product ideas through YEI.
In 2026, Lauryn expanded her business by adding heart-shaped and rectangular bar soaps to her original jelly soap collection. She also includes natural herbs in her soaps to make them even more special.
This summer, Lauryn is rejoining YEI and preparing to pitch at KidBizCON. She is also adding shea soap to her brand as she continues growing Lauryn Sparkles.

Meet Lauryn.
Hi! My name is Lauryn, and I am 10 years old. I started my business, Lauryn Sparkles, in 2024 because I wanted to create fun soaps that encourage people to wash their hands.
In 2026, I expanded my business by adding heart-shaped and rectangular bar soaps to my original jelly soap collection. I also include natural herbs in my soaps to make them even more special.
I offer a variety of colorful soaps and gift sets, so there is something for everyone. Running my business has helped me learn new skills, be creative, and grow as a young entrepreneur.
