Pristine Stitches is a youth-owned crochet business created by Nahla, a rising junior at McKinley Technology High School and returning YEI entrepreneur.
The brand creates handmade, high-quality crochet items, including hats, bags, plushies, accessories, and custom crochet pieces. Each item is carefully handcrafted to match customer preferences while bringing together quality and creativity.
Nahla’s passion is crocheting and creating unique handmade items that bring happiness to others. Through Pristine Stitches, she is continuing to grow as both an artist and a young entrepreneur.

Meet Nahla.
Nahla started Pristine Stitches during Summer 2025 through YEI’s MBSYEP entrepreneurship program. That summer, she pitched at KidBizCON and won 2nd place.
This summer, Nahla is returning as a YEI entrepreneur and working with staff to expand her crochet product line while learning additional crochet methods.
Nahla participated in her first pop-up shop this summer and is working to build enough product inventory to pop up consistently while also taking custom orders.
Through Pristine Stitches, Nahla is growing her skills as a maker, artist, entrepreneur, and vendor while continuing to build a brand known for quality, creativity, and excellent customer service.

Crochet is a handmade business, which means every product takes time, skill, and planning. Nahla is working with YEI staff to build inventory, strengthen production methods, and prepare for more consistent pop-up opportunities.
Her next step is to balance ready-to-sell products with custom orders so Pristine Stitches can serve customers at markets while still offering personalized handmade pieces.
